Founder Eric W. Neilsen received his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, published several scholarly works, and received numerous book awards.  He graduated from the University of South Florida, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors.

After graduation, Eric served as a law clerk with the Superior Court of New Hampshire for two years.  In private practice, Eric has handled a wide array of litigated matters before various tribunals, including class actions, in the areas of complex commercial litigation, domestic relations, immigration, debt-related disputes, civil litigation, personal injury, insurance coverage, construction defect, product reliability, general insurance defense, and employment-related litigation.  His previous work experience includes financial management positions in the communications, international seafood, manufacturing, and logistics industries. 

Eric is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the St. Petersburg Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the Middle and Southern Federal District Courts of Florida, as well as the Bankruptcy Courts for the Middle and Southern District of Florida.  He is also admitted to practice before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal.
